D.A.R.E Graduation

What a proud graduate

checking out her goods....

Mckenzie had a cute program at school today. She has been in the Dare Program the last little bit. She promises not to use tobacco, drugs, or alcohol. It was good, she was very excited. My friend at work nvited me to go to Japan with her for the weekend. She wanted to leave Thursday monring and come back Sunday. I was talking to Brandon about going and making plans. When Mckenzie caught wind of me possibly going to Japan, she was so upset. You would of thought I was missing her high school graduation. So the great mom that I am, forwent my trip to Japan to watch her program and graduation. It was well worth it too :)

The funniest little person ever..

Ok this kid is a hoot!! She lost a tooth the other morning. I asked her if she was going to put it under her pillow that night. "She said no, because she was going to be going to bed late that night, and didn't want the tooth fairy to have to come real early at 6am like last time." Yep thats right the tooth fairy almost forgot last time. The poor kid is toothless right now. She has pictures at school Thursday. She already has the smile she is going to use, so we can't see her mouth. I have told her several times she better have a cute smile showing all her missing teeth. Those are the best pictures.

~Lake Powell~

We went to Lake Powell Labor Day weekend. I misplaced my camera for a week or so. Hence the delay of pictures. We had a great time. We stayed in a hotel and spent the day at the lake. It was great. Mckenzie learned to wake board. She pops right up. It is so funny. The palce is beautiful. Well worth the long drive. It was a great way to finish a fun summer.
