We are so grateful for the time we had to spend with just the "5" of us.

We just wish it had been under better circumstances. We tried to make the best out of the worst situation. We are grateful, and very thankful to Derek, Jason, and Brandon....we love you!! They were all in 3 different states and managed to hold down the forts and get the kids off to school. Dad you should be included in this also. You didn't have kids to get off to school you had much bigger fish to fry. You are doing a great job being moms nurse. You can retire from nursing now, and go back to what you do best.........being a plumber. We love you mom and dad

Waffles anyone....

We had another sleepover. Wednesday night. Mo and Kate were a great help. They tried to pick Shirley up at the airport. (that is our secret) They took me to the airport Thursday. The maid has returned from her nursing school in Texas. She got good practice since Georgie was left like road kill on New Years Eve. She has been nursing him back to health. Now she gets to be a nurse again. We have left our mom in very good hands.
My dad wanted everyone to take note that he was surrounded by women again and the only male made breakfast. Way to go dad. We love your waffles.

We love "OUR" bulldog

We bought my dad 2 t shirts. He gets to be the bulldog. Your call or visit has to go through him, before it gets to my mom. We were glad we were on the list of approved visitors :). Just kidding there was no list. Grandpa Bowen says he is not a bulldog he is a "PIT BULL".

This was the slumber party we had last night. My dad had to leave the hospital at 2. Michelle did not want to leave that early. So she stayed with me. Pretty tight, but it was fun. This is the view from the hospital window......

Our new home for the last week.........

Each day gets a little better, and has a few set backs. We just wanted to thank you all for your love and support at this tough time. Your prayers are certainly being felt, and very appreciated. The emails and letters are very uplifting for her. We read them daily to her.

Our trip to Hollywood and Beverly Hills

My parents and the Erickson's decided to go to Southern California for a cousins "50" birthday party. So I thought what the heck, we can go too. Mckenzie didn't want to go, so she stayed with Mike and Merri, Brandon was snow mobiling with Nick. So that just left Megan and I. Of course I am not cool enough to go to Hollywood with. Megan wanted to take a friend on a Buddy pass. I have been waiting for this moment. At first I told her no way. Then I thought why not. Carly know Haley, and the girls would have so much fun. So we did it. We flew down Saturday and met Char in Hollywood. We took a tour in a "LIMO" we were the coolest parents. The tour took us to some landmarks and we drove by stars homes. A total nosey tour. But it was fun. You would of thought the kids had died and gone to heaven. Even the boys thought it was cool.

Party Poopers........

New Years Eve. My mom went to bed some what early. I guess she is getting old. My dad stayed up until about 11:45 and the weirdo decided it was time to go to bed. Little did he know we were not going to let them be total party poopers.......

New Years Eve in Napa

So the pictures are a little back wards. We really had dinner before fondue. We had crab legs, lobster, and pizza for dinner. Char is showing up how mean we were for cooking these nasty things. Look closely at Jason's ears. Char was totally grossed out at the pan with the antennas hanging out of the pan.

Well in case no one noticed, my birthday was yesterday. Thanks to my sweet ( i think) sister in law. I wish I could say that was my cake, or better yet that I made it. Neither would be the case, just a tease. Ok well the birthday, I have had much better birthday, and unfortunately much much worse. I was sick yesterday. UGH!!! We went to California for New Years, and Had a great time. Probably one of the funner ones. But yes I got sick with a cold. Started out with a cough no big deal. Yesterday was tho whole head thing. Yuck!! Well I had ordered some boots, they of course tried to ship them the day we left, so I had a final notice in the mail when we got back. My driver license was expiring yesterday too. So yes you guessed it I got to spend my birthday at the post office and the dmv. Can any one say party. Those 2 places have got to be the slowest places on the planet. To top it off, I have to see a Doctor before they will renew my license. Anyone that has seen my license I am 10 months pregnant with Mckenzie, it is the cutest picture ever Char says I look like a polygamist (little does she know). So now I have to see a heart Doctor before I get to go back to the DMV. So today we will celebrate and party :):):) because I feel much better. Thanks for all the calls and the ones I didn't get cause I was in bed. Love you all..........
